Part and full time positions available. Season runs May 26 – September 3. Hours are 10am-6pm daily.
We are looking for individuals that are outgoing, knowledgeable about Fairbanks/Alaska and who genuinely care about people. Primary duties include teaching the art of gold panning, helping customers find gold, and interacting with customers in a positive manner to ensure they have a great experience. Other duties include, but are not limited to, making jewelry, executing sales, taking care of the property and equipment, etc.
In just one summer season, expect to meet people from all over the world, work outside, and take away lessons and stories that will last a lifetime. You never know who you will meet and what an impact you can have by being a big part of someone’s dream trip to Alaska!
No experience necessary, but a care for people and a willingness to learn is a must. Tour guide applicants must be self-starters, comfortable with long hours on their feet, working outdoors and interacting with people. Experience in customer service, teaching, gold prospecting, sales and/or tourism is a plus.
